To some extent there is a sense of frustration in the mind of Daniel Sturridge as minimal playing for Chelsea this season.
The lack of performance opportunities with the main squad Chelsea Daniel Sturridge made stifling. He also expressed his desire to be a routine play.
"I lack the chance to play from the beginning and at the minute is sufficient, so I do not feel quite sharp in front of goal," said Sturridge, Thursday (1/11).
"When you practice, you can score as many goals as possible, but it's different in the game. I'm glad I was able to score goals, but I know I should be more sharp."
"I'm glad coach gave me an opportunity to play today because that's what I wanted at Chelsea."
"That opportunity may be one of the five start I've ever done as a striker, so I'm very happy he gave me confidence and hopefully he will do so again in the future," he said.
